The concept of design for this 67 unit building with wrap around terrace living for every unit was to bring the Miami skyline and South Beach open plan charm to Manhattan. As posted online, condo purchase prices range between $1.8MM to $42.5MM

Role as Lead Project Engineer - Project Manager

Starting before but during 2015, my company was awarded many ground up high-rise projects leading to a search for internal talent across the nation. I was referred by the Philadelphia Business Unit Leader to be one of these individuals. I made the move and became the Lead Project Engineer while the project was still in the pre-con & buyout phases. Leading into construction we had about an (8) person average Team when we hit mid life cycle of the project.

My Responsibilities Included:

  • Lead and created client tailored management processes for all bid package submittals, RFIs, cost reports, and change management proposals

  • Secured bids, hosted scope review meetings, coordinated scheduling, and managed the contractors as an APM to the Lead PM and PX

  • Quickly transitioned into PM for MEPS packages and directly lead a team of (2) Project Engineer and (2) Construction Intern reports

  • Often perform and fully see through Assistant Superintendent activities from conception to completion

  • Fully handle and lead construction exercises such as working with City Jurisdictions/Engineers to identify existing underground street utilities and finalize all Point of Entry elevations and locations at our building perimeter.

Project conditions mid-construction forced the Lead PM and myself to oversee the remaining work. This propelled the Lead PM into a PX role on their following high-rise development and myself as a PM on our 50 Hudson Yards Partnership with Related Companies. We were among the only two from the original team to see the project through pre-con to TCO and client turnover.
